Troop 1985 recently traded their usual meeting space for an unforgettable day of adventure at Newman’s Castle in Texas where the scouts explored a real medieval-style castle right in the heart of the Texas countryside. The visit to Newman’s Castle was more than just a fun field trip. It was a chance for Troop 1985 to experience something completely different.
Newman’s Castle is unlike any ordinary place. With its stone walls, towers, drawbridge, moat, and grand courtyard, the castle gave the Scouts a chance to step into a world that felt straight out of a storybook.
